This week has been a masterclass in sniping focus for purpose.

While doing my daily doom scroll of content on Socials, I came across a thread that talked about this guy Sam Wall of “Sam Reads Books” that built up a following from 173 after his first video to over 218,000 followers by refusing to do anything except that one narrow thing, day after day.

(The Consistency here is so freaking inspiring to me sheeeeeeshhhh)

Dude literally shared about books to read and in that he built a community around his interest.

I’ve realized this week that in my effort to do one hundred thousand things all at once, I was not fully committing to watering the plant of my soul and spirit which is movement.

I remember thinking about the Human Experience concept and it excited me because I could fit all of my ventures and thoughts and wild ADHD mind maps of everything into haha ( Ya boi has a lot to say about a lot)

What bypassed my awareness at the time was the type of community and audience I truly wanted to cultivate and build around.

Last week I began working with a new client that hired me to coach them on confidence/movement and feeling more comfortable in their own skin in public places.

I’ve actually never before done something exactly like this minus going out to clubs/bars etc and being asked to show some people dance moves here and there and put on a lil show for the one time.

The experience showed me that aside from all of my performing, fitness training, AI company initiatives, and other ventures what matters the most to me is consistent movement and confidence building.

The results by the way were freaking amazing for them after our night out and currently working on a curriculum of sorts I’m building from scratch.

(Who would have thought helping others build of confidence in hitting a dance floor and being the most authentic versions of themselves out with others would bring this kind of joy and purpose!)

That said I’m committing to shift more of what I share and talk about to how movement rebuilds confidence.

My new motto: “Move first. Confidence follows.”

Grateful to Kane Kallaway for writing the thread about Sam and for my client that reached out to me for guidance for trusting in me with their development in movement and confidence.

What is your own version of Sam’s bookshelf that YOU may have been diluting by trying to cover too much ground?

Reply and let me know your findings.

I read every single one.

Let's level up together.

Love y'all, Cordell Weathersbee II
